




Monroe Township, Johnstown, Ohio
Monroe Township is the unincorporated rural community surrounding the Village of Johnstown, Ohio. It is located in Licking County and is considered part of central Ohio. Monroe Township is a full-service township that provides its residents with fire protection, emergency medical services (EMS), road and cemetery maintenance, and zoning code enforcement.
The Monroe Township Fire Department provides service to Monroe Township and to the Village of Johnstown and also provides contractual fire protection and emergency medical service to portions of Jersey, Liberty, and McKean Townships, and to the portion of the City of New Albany located in Licking County including the site of the new Intel facility.

TOWNSHIP MEETINGS
Trustee meetings will be held at the township hall located at 7621 Johnstown-Alex Rd. on the 1st & 3rd Mondays of each month at 5:30 PM unless otherwise posted below.
Zoning Commission meetings will be held at 7621 Johnstown-Alex Rd. on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM unless otherwise posted below.
Township Staff meetings will be held at 186 E. Coshocton St. on the Last Wednesday of each month at 7:30 AM unless otherwise posted below.
